I think it needs to me more of a
smaller pan for each, but if you
do try it in a
mason jar, please let me know how it turns out!
I
do not microwave in plastic because of the risk of toxins getting into the food, actually don't care for microwaves that much so I started putting my hot things in glass containers, even
small mason jars work for heating up if you'd like to use a microwave, or I heat them up at home, store them in glass, and keep it separate from the other foods.
I also used the
smaller mason jar because I didn't want to use all of my expensive, Medjool dates, but then I had a hard time packing in all of the paste (just by a bit).
If you don't have the special
jars listed below (eight 1 - cup wide - mouth
Mason jars), you could use
small, heatproof custard - cups with the same size diameter s the
mason jars).
After cooking, pour a
small amount of the reserved almond milk divided into bowls or cute little
mason jars as I have
done here.
All this was made by a local Vis florist, an incredibly talented lady Nena who
did an amazing job and made all the flower arrangements for the day, consisting of beautiful and simple
small mason jars filled with sand, pebbles, shells and flowers from the island.
The garland is hung on an old barn wood door and then there are
mason jars,
small candles and a few shells in front -
done!
