do thrift shopping because my patience gets lost after spending too much time trying to find something, and I feel like I'm wasting time.

I love to
shop thrift but I'm too lazy to dig for it at the local non-profit
thrift store, so I have a consignment store where all the organization and sorting has been
done for you!
we had no cable, no cell phones an old used paid for van,
shopped thrift stores, paid all our bills on time, didn't use credit (didn't have a credit card).
Lightweight, floaty scarves work best (your local
thrift shop might be a good source if you don't have any).
It can be fun to
shop at the
thrift store, at flea markets or yard sales, but
do not get your electric blankets here!
Don't donate them, because then some other poor soul will think they've found a treasure the next time they go

It's my first time
thrift -
shopping so I didn't really know the price, is it too pricey or already cheap huhu.
My «me time» moments lately have been quick trips to my favorite
thrift shops without the baby, or even just
doing something I enjoy while he naps instead of working on my To
Do list (which is not long right now, thankfully.)

did quite a bit of
thrift shopping during my stay in New York (article on that still to come) and for a while now I had been looking for flared pants to replace my old white sailor pants.

I've actually never
shopped at Talbots before but I
do have a few pieces that I've found at
thrift / consignment stores that are Talbots brand, and I love them!
The coolest part about the
shopping experience is that you can save your favorite brands to your profile, so if you only want to browse «skirts from J.Crew in size 6,» you don't have to waste time looking at everything else (again, the benefit of online vs. your neighborhood
thrift store).

This rule applies to
shopping in general, and it applies to
thrifting, too — if you don't love it when you try it on in the store, don't buy it.
To remedy this ailment, I spend my time
doing DIY projects, scouring
thrift stores and
shopping clearance sales to get the look for less.

shopping in stores; I go
thrift shopping a lot.
Since I
do most of my
shopping in
thrift stores such as Goodwill I have a similar rule... any new purchase must be more current, in better condition, and not something I already have too many of like black pants.
After weeks of expressing our love of
thrifting and vintage
shopping to each other, we've decided to bring our talents to use and start our own business

Thrifting is more «thrill of the chase» than retail

2013 has taught me that you don't have to have a lot of money to look fabulous —
thrift stores, consignment
shops, hand - me - downs, and sales were my friends this year Also, it's another year of reinforcing love for your body (regardless of what size you are).
Now, granted there wasn't a huge amount of vintage clothing stores there, but between those that there were, antique stores, and
thrifting (though I found almost no vintage at the 15 +
thrift stores we had time to hit - just two pairs of vintage gloves at the very last one on the evening before we headed home), I was able to
do some
shopping every day and still didn't get a chance to see everything I could have on that front (there were lots more
thrift stores and a couple of antique places we didn't get to on this trip - more to see next time!
If you don't want to try and wade through bins at your local goodwill or
thrift store, I love
shopping online for secondhand / used clothing.
I

shop like A&K Trading Co., H&M (being that there isn't one here in San Antonio), Value Village
Thrift Store (I bought so many colored blazers and winter stuff).

shopping I don't discriminate — if it's a $ 5 dollar shirt from a
thrift store, or a $ 500 dollar pair of boots, I sometimes love them equally if they each fit well, and make me excited.
