We have one resident who's
vegan and a couple other who were
doing a
vegan / vegetarian challenge, so we opted for a no - meat cooking class and came across a pasta - making class at a local downtown
restaurant.
I have alway's wanted to drive to the
Vegan Treats bakery and have never
done it so I was more then excited to finally be trying their desserts, although I'm sure I've had one or two while eating at a
restaurant in NYC.
Elixiba is another awesome new healthy
restaurant / bar that has popped up recently on Ocean st.

I
do not think that I ever tasted that dish before going
vegan, but I've witnessed friends devour it in
restaurants numerous times, and have become curious.
While
vegan and vegetarian options in most
restaurants in my city are pretty much non-existent, there
do seem to be more and more vegetarian - only
restaurants popping up in recent years.
Tidbits just off Regent Street isn't strictly
vegan (it is a
vegan and vegetarian
restaurant with the produce being 80 %
vegan most of the time), it
does however dedicate Tuesdays to solely
vegan cuisine.
As for dinner... I don't really like going out to
restaurants that aren't
vegan.
We have a raw
vegan restaurant where I live and they
do not use honey in anything.
BTW, my son who is celiac had only been able to eat waffles at a local Austin TX
restaurant that
does vegan and gluten free.
What I love about Valentine's Day is that it's a fun, special occasion to celebrate my love for my guy, for us to get a little fancy and
do something we both genuinely love, like going to see a movie or to a cool
vegan restaurant if we can hunt one down in our area.
While we don't think Gordon is necessarily committing to a
vegan or plant - based diet (only time will tell), his tweet

I'm in Hungary right now visiting my family and friends, which means I don't even get near to the kitchen for a week, and I only enjoy my mom's delicious food and the cool new
vegan restaurants here, in Budapest (and that's why I'm not really responding to comments and emails — sorry).
