It hasn't got anything to
do with the fuel economy which remains unchanged but has quite a lot to do with the 36 gallon fuel tank.
However, a part of affordability has to
do with fuel economy, and this is where the Focus Electric really shines given it does not even burn «fuel» in the traditional sense, but uses an efficient electric powertrain.
I think there's only so much they can
do with the fuel economy of the aging 4.0 - liter V6, though.

fuel economy estimates for the ActiveHybrid 5, although a 2011 535i is rated at 20/30 mpg (city / highway)

All this might be worth putting up
with if the four - cylinder delivered stellar
fuel economy, but it doesn't.
The EPA says it also tested other Mercedes models and
did not find any other inaccuracies
with fuel economy ratings.
And the 2012 model
does so
with a minimal
fuel -
economy penalty of only 2 mpg in the city and 1 mpg on the highway (2011 Sonatas had slightly lower EPA ratings).
Ford isn't resting on its laurels though; not only
does the 2018 F - 150 get the usual styling updates and tech add - ons that come
with a mid-cycle update, but also major powertrain changes yield power, torque, and

The 2016 Toyota Tacoma Limited

does result in high
fuel economy, though, as the Mirage hatchback is the cheapest car to get over 40 mpg
with its EPA rating of 37 city, 44 highway

Two New Transmissions That should lead to an increase in

with a curb weight of 7,480 pounds, this sits outside of the light - truck classification), but I averaged 16.6 L / 100 km,
with the truck ranging around 13.5 on the highway.
Manufacturers don't publish
fuel economy numbers for HD trucks, but I dumped nearly 20 gallons into the tank; I pulled away
with a theoretical range of 500 miles and a wallet that was about $ 80 lighter.
But don't think that
with all of this power you'll have to sacrifice any
fuel economy.
