I love the Easter holiday, especially the meaning behind it of course, but also because of the tradition we've been
doing with our kids since Emma was a baby.

with her family — and she'd been
doing it

kids, even when she worked for Google.
I walk out of this office every day at 5:30 so I'm home for dinner
with my
kids at 6:00, and interestingly, I've been
doing that
since I had
kids.
I generate almost that much right now as an employee but
do not have the guts and drive to start a business at 40
with 2 young
kids, specially
since I have a cushy and interesting job that lets me work 40 hours or less per week.
I've been snowbound
since Sunday evening, stuck at home
with kids who resent the fact that there are no snow days in homeschool, a wife who wonders why I don't have a job in south Florida (but only on cold winter days), and two animals (a neurotic dog who keeps asking to go out and then to come in, and a kitten that is constantly hunting my various appendages).
(My parents (my Irish mother especially
since she had the most to
do with us) instilled respect for others in their
kids.)
I married a Christian man who has changed a lot over the last 14 years, and now
does not attend church
with our
kids and me,
since about five years ago or so.

did not tell him he had to bow his head, he just made a big deal because everybody else was praying, and
since he is atheist he thinks that it is wrong for everybody else to pray in the military ceremony, he was going to graduate regardless, and i went to AIT

Eating raw eggs may not be what all the popular
kids are
doing, but
since raw egg yolks are just brimming
with beneficial nutrients I figure it's worth the social stigma.
What I mean by that is that I like to make my food, mostly from scratch,
with real and fresh ingredients but I also don't want it to take a lot of time
since my three
kids always want it ready «five - minutes - ago.»
For our 20th,
since we didn't get to take a big trip or anything (he taught for the summer session of school), he surprised me
with a bunch of my favorite concerts over the last month, including New
Kids On The Block / Paula Abdul, David Archuleta, the Utah Symphony and GENTRI and we got to spend some time together in Salt Lake City.
It's a good feeling to finish a little earlier, I
did a bit of my shopping online which made things a lot easier when shopping for the
kids since they are usually
with me at the stores.
More importantly if the
kid does very well he will raise the club along
with him and if someone comes knocking we can recover our investment
since he is only 18.
