So many wonderful things you can
do with roasted garlic.
Not exact matches
All you have to
do is
roast some beetroots, boil some potatoes and then whizz them up in a blender
with some coconut milk,
garlic, cumin, coriander, chilli and lemon juice — so easy!
We would rub it
with herbs and poke slivers of
garlic into the meat all over and then
roast it until it was pretty well
done.
Your swirly smoothie looks lovely, as
does the chilli... my favourite autumn dinner is
garlic -
roasted vegetables
with goats» cheese on top, delicious
This makes a perfect fit
with roast lamb — as
does your
garlic roast carrots recipe!.

Directions: Using a mortar and pestle, or a small grinder, mix
garlic, ginger and half of the peanut oil to form a thick paste / Add other spices, half of the water (1/2 C) to this mix, stir together and set aside / In a sauce pan, heat the other tablespoon of oil to medium hot, add cumin and mustard seeds and allow them to sizzle momentarily / Add spice paste, turn heat to medium low, and while stirring, allow to cook for 1 to 2 minutes / Add cauliflower and potatoes, sweet or hot pepper if using / Stir together so that vegetables are coated
with the spices / Add the other 1/2 C water, place a lid on, and simmer for 10 — 15 minutes, until vegetables are tender / Remove lid and simmer for another 5 minutes / If vegetables are
done, remove them from the pan and continue to simmer the sauce until it reduces and thickens slightly — just a minute or two / Add
roasted asparagus to the bowl / Spoon sauce over winter and spring veggies, sprinkle
with chives.
Here's what I
did; I
roasted yams
with carrots, apple, broccoli, cauliflower,
garlic and spices.
So I pulled it back out, dropped some already -
roasted garlic cloves on top
with about a tablespoon of olive oil, and didn't sweat it.
I
do make sheet pan dinners from time to time, but I realize now that they mostly revolve around chicken, for instance these delicious Turmeric Chicken Legs

I went looking, and it is weird, but I don't really have any spaghetti squash on my blog... I usually simply
roast it and toss
with olive oil and
roasted garlic and plenty of cracked black pepper.
Even though I didn't have a plan, I filled a container
with roasted garlic, tomatoes, artichokes, peppers and olives.

Frigid cold weather is a good time to
do this, because you'll welcome having that oven heating for a few hours: You
roast the bones once
with onions and
garlic for an hour, and then slow
roast them for another three hours, covered in water.
Once sweet potatoes are
roasted and rice is
done cooking and slightly cooled, place the
roasted sweet potatoes and
garlic in a food processor along
with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the 1/2 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, onion powder, chili powder and cumin.
Of course, the easiest thing to
do with a medley of root vegetables is to cut them into uniform pieces, toss them
with butter or olive oil, herbs and sea salt in a
roasting pan (add whole
garlic cloves in their peels) and caramelize them at 400 degrees for at least thirty minutes, or until fork tender.
Savory black beans and
garlic roasted sweet potatoes are dressed in lime juice and fresh cilantro and served
with spicy raspberry chipotle sauce in these sweet & savory vegan sweet potato burrito bowls.I don't think I've ever met a person...
The other thing I
did was while the pork was resting on the cutting board, I removed the large herb sprigs, squeezed some of the
roast garlic cloves into the pan, deglazed the pan
with some white wine, then swirled in some butter for a nice pan sauce.
Hers didn't have tomatoes, but was this rich amalgam of
roasted garlic, potatoes, and kale and I could see tomatoes getting along real well
with those three.
I
did add a little more
garlic, and I had to substitute red pepper flakes
with cayenne pepper... I have my spaghetti squash
roasting..
Smash your

did not
do this very well, so maybe you'll see some big chunks in the pic... I'm kinda ok
with that — I LOVE
garlic).
Since eating these leftovers was something I just had to
do, I decided to make some delicious
roasted garlic bread
with parsley and oregano to bring a little joy to a sad plate of food.
I
do not have the recipe for the green beans posted, but all I
did was toss them
with olive oil, lemon zest and juice,
garlic powder, and s & p and
roast at 425 10 - 15 minutes.
