The sample diet you posted doesn't really have anything to
do with the food pyramid above it... Shouldn't each meal include a 2 - 4 whole fruits and more veggies, since they are unlimited, and minimal amounts of everything else?

with a lot of input from special interest groups, such as the beef industry that
did not want its products removed from the school lunches.

We already know that the
