This leads me to believe maybe this has something to
do with the water pump, or some other liquid pump, that is run by the engine and not moving enough liquid to fill the pipe, hence a sloshing / running water sound.
We decided it must have something to
do with water pump.

water flow flow if bubbles stay present it could be head gasket this pushes combustion gas thru and can cause antifreeze to dicipate hence why u keep having to put more unless yur

With oil
pumps it just doesn't work that way but I suppose an engine can run without a
water pump for a short period of time whereas an oil
pump failure would probably be disastrous.
It doesn't set well
with me and my question is if the new
water pump was somehow installed improperly at the service department could that have contributed or been the cause?
