I would not fault a person for believing there is more to the human condition than biology while having the ability to see the inherent corruption and hypocrisy present in organized religion in it's adherence to
doctrine over scripture and political motivations.

The
Doctrine of the Inspiration of
Scripture was actually an idea that was carried
over from Judaism, with some slight modifications.
Considering that it took the Church about 300 years, long after they had made up their minds about theology, to start picking
scripture to match that
doctrine, and that the oldest known copt of the bible has
over 27,000 «corrections» written all
over it, how can you be sure that the New Testament isn't full of false
doctrine to begin with?
Over the years, as I have tried to discern where this mentality comes from, I always end up at the
