does Leangains differentiate itself from some other intermittent fasting based diets?
I've been
doing leangains for almost 2 years and love it!
Not exact matches
Fasting is not
done daily in this protocol, unlike other intermittent fasting approaches like
Leangains.
While intermittent fasting is an important component of
Leangains, it
does not go for drastic calorie restriction.
As mentioned, Martin Berkhan
does not impose food restrictions on his
Leangains Protocol.
The paper states that exercising in a fasted state, as advocated in
Leangains,
does not burn fat effectively.
The 16:8
Leangains Protocol doesn't impose any food restrictions.
However, after a number of scientific studies proved its effectiveness,
Leangains became the must -
do diet of the day.
And if it
does then it wouldn \» t be intermittent fasting and
Leangains (Berkhan) wouldn \» t be relevant?
When the results don't come fast enough they start freaking out and changing things the wrong way and end up with a bastardized version, but still call it
Leangains, and then dismiss
Leangains as not being optimal.
Don't get me wrong, tweaking some things is good and at most times necessary, but it had sort of a telephone effect on the web... one person puts their spin on Martin's methods, then someone else reads that and puts their spin on it all the while calling it
Leangains.

I'm wondering if it's possible to see results
doing 5 days of Warrior, 1 day of
Leangains and 1 day off?
A better term for this would be a «refeed», which is something that is
done every training day with the
leangains method.
