It proves that some people make a religion out of atheism, but it doesn't prove anything about all atheists.

Not all atheist are created equal just like all Christians are not the same so before you say things like «atheism is so sad», please consider that you really do not know what you are talking about and it is not your place to judge how I think or feel.

I don't entirely disagree with the posts above, but my understanding is that for plain - old main - stream atheism, it is best defined by talking about belief versus lack of belief.

On the other hand, people who comment on feeds from advocates for atheism, like Richard Dawkins or Sam Harris, are going to be commenting about something they don't like or approve of — religion.
