And this is why Giroud struggles he's particular set of skills as a Deep lying Forward, become f@cking useless, when you're overcrowded in the final third what
does hold up play do, his finishing is also nulified on account of the fact that as a deep lying forward doesn't poses the strength to fight his way out of situations like this like a target man would do... or the dribbilng capabilities, mobility to be able to wriggle past defenders in these small spaces.

i'm not taking anything away from Sanchez but our
play is to have possession he should pass back if he has no one to cross, my opinion and my»n only is that he should
hold his head
up sometimes to see whats around him if he can
do this i think he will go to the next level in football, before you disagree you should look at his past games for us.

hold up play»... but don't mistake that gibberish with

Bottom line, if he is angered bench the players who were not good enough and
play those who deserve some game time based on the Southampton game or on games where they had a positive impact: - Take Özil out and
play Ox in the hole (he has to understand your the highest paid player of the club, your given freedom like nobody else and your even seeking even more money with a new contract you can't
play like that ever and go AWOL)- Put Sanchez on the wing or
up top but put Welbeck in (Walcott didn't track back near enough for the Alsonso goal)- Iwobi has been bright from the wing let him
play there - Xhaka has to go back in the
holding midfield role and I would take out Coquelin because he could've taken a foul on the hazard's goal.

up play» all that twitter whatever is bs... I'm pretty sure, we wld have been on his case for a long tym b4 any silly newspaper / reliable source wld know... Wenger likes his business
done privately and will only give out wat he wants out... remember Sanchez, elneny, even xhaka... their photo - ops were

Ramsey — overpaid, overused, injury prone, not clinical enough as a passer or finisher and he's
played out of position way too much to the detriment of our supposed offensive and defensive schemes... obviously I think he has some skills and I'm pleased he didn't let his horrible injury years ago end his career but he
holds on to the ball too much, gives away the ball too often and too cheaply, doesn't
play good enough defensively considering the previous concern and often finds himself to far
up the pitch way too often for a guy who doesn't score or assist near enough... better suited for Wales where the team is set
up to accommodate his and Bales skills

holding it
up to bring our other attackers into

I still don't see how he is a super sub. He's labelled as a super sub just because of this season. Those matches when he scored he was supposed to be
played because we needed an aerial presence.A lot of those matches had he started we could've won because we needed aerial presence. But the thing is that his abilities don't suit him as a super sub.I mean he
holds up the ball well and is great in the air and that's just about it.He's actually the one one who needs service and who needs players around him to open
up defences for him to receive the pass and not vice versa.Super subs actually provide they are not the one's to be provided for.In Giroud's case he was supposed to start in those in matches as Sanchez was not
up to the task in aerial battles.Giroud will not be able to affect a match if the opponents are as good in the air.

The first question is where he will
play and I can fully understand the people that are saying that he

up play, as well as the aerial threat and physical prowess of Olivier Giroud makes sense.

hold -
up»
play as a dirty word, but buying an extra few seconds for supporting runners (which in Sanchez, it's hard to ask for much more) and dragging a CB out of position Giroud
does very, very well.
Besides several teams who have questions surrounding one or possibly two players, there is no squad that has so many issues heading into the final week of the transfer window... even Monaco, who have lost numerous players from their starting 11 have less controversy swirling in and around their club and they have champion's league
play to contend with this season... just think of how ridiculous this situation is especially considering that we have had the same manager for over 20 years... no team should be better organized than ours... if nothing else, that should be the one advantage this team
holds over all others, yet the exact opposite has occurred... this fact is even more disturbing considering the main argument against removing Wenger from his managerial position was that there was no suitable replacement and that people feared some sort of perceived drop - off if a new manager was brought into the mix... based on what we've witnessed since the time of his contract renewal a monkey with a magic eight ball could have
done an adequate job... I hate to make jokes, in light of our current dilemma, but this team is so screwed
up if I don't laugh about it, the only plausible response is to either cry or
do something incredibly destructive... just look around this squad and try to see what our delusional manager sees that allow him to make such positive statements about our current team
Giroud reminds me a bit of Dimitar Berbatov, as a matter of fact I am wholeheartedly convinced Giroud is Berbatov in disguise, because he is the only striker I have witnessed who can go more than two months without a goal and finish amongst the top 3 strikers in the Premier League, completely similar in style, both very classy finishers, brilliant
hold up play they are also both lazy as hell and occasionally turn
up in random clusters of games which 80 percent of the time are worthless in the hopes of winning any silverware, but
do just about enough to convince you that they are better than they are.

up front, he will
do what he is best at (

play).

do hold onto the ball and then bring others into
play.

Especially now that Ramsey has damaged his hamstring, That doesn't mean that Walcott is not capable of cutting into the box and running into goal scoring opportunitiest from here, if anything, he will end

hold up»
play rubbish as a strikers main trait.
Sunny we are the worst team to
play for a draw, we just don't know how to
do that and always when we try to
hold on to a lead or try for draw we end
up being confused and lose always, so i say go for a win its the way we
play and lets just hope our recent signings will bring stability in the near future to be able to defend and be able to
hold tams better
He's a bit overrated I must say.I also don't get those who are asking him to tackle well. The fact is he's not a good tackler.I fear Wenger has made him untouchable in our team such that even if he
plays badly he still starts.I mean if people are saying he's not a DM in the first place then is he also a CM?If he's a CM
does he have the quality to
play along side a DM?These are the questions we need to ask ourselves. If he's a CM then he's good at distributing from deep and also
up top but he can't
hold thd ball in tight spaces or dribble which is very important. If he's a DM then he simply can't defend. That's why for us to be successful in the long term with him we need a hybrid midfielder or what I call a defensive box to box midfielder.
... he
played there against crystal palace, Everton 2 season ago and it was a disaster... our build
up is majorly
done closer to d centre circle than d oppositions box... that's y girouds
hold up play is vital... either we go with dat path or we look for a striker who is lightning quick (so when we make d final pass, it doesn't get wasted), uses both legs to shoot on sight, with good accuracy...
playing Sanchez, who is not very good with his back to goal as a 9 is useless and though fast,
holds on to d ball a lot tryn to get d best angle to shoot... we need a striker who is very intelligent with d timing of his runs... too bad Walcott is as intelligent as a sheep, cld have been d perfect cf...

played on the wings.

hold up play.
Didn't watch the game and to be honest I don't fancy a line
up with Giroud upfront, I feel bored usually... I don't like his turtle's movement, I don't like his
hold up, I don't like his skill, I don't like his little flick, nor
do I like his tongue gesture... Everyone is entitle to his opinion but I don't like those with comments polishing his
hold up sh*t... and I'm an Arsenal fan with great passion... Wenger, you failed us big time in the summer not signing a good striker, hey don't say there's no one available because I don't like that too... At this current situation,
play wallcot, Kos, sanchez or anyone (bar slow Mert) upfront and I would never complain...
Everyone one in the entire world (except Wenger clearly due to today) knows we needed a striker that could
do all the
hold up play and bringing others into
play that Giroud actually
does very well, but also the movement and pace that Walcott brings to be
played in behind by our great midfielders.
