I'm not sure there is anything that I can
do about this excessive long wake time window of fuzzing action since he usually has a big bowl movement around 2:00 a.m. I'm only guessing his bowl movement is what keeps him up for 3 hours, but who knows it might be

do 1.5
waketime and 2.5 hour naps.
She might eat better if she had a four hour schedule, but to
do that you would want to try to fix the early waking, or wait until her
waketime can be longer.

waketime lengths don't have to be a certain length necessarily.

waketime length right, he should go to sleep rather quickly (though the Baby Whisperer
does say that average time to fall asleep is 20 minutes).
Often that is a sign of not having
waketime in the day, but it sounds like you are
doing that.
(though I
do like the gym for some
waketimes).

waketime even if he

did really well after about the third day and started sleeping past his

The short answer is that you don't add
waketime, you wait for him to be ready.
You have to be really careful when messing with a 6 month old
waketime that you don't go too long.

does wake early i try and get her back down but it

I don't think the
waketime is too long though since he
did really well with it before.

did not wake up again until 2 when I nursed him then he slept all the way til
waketime at 7.
I would first try to tone down stimulation and then if that dosn't work, add five minutes
waketime at a time.
Also, how
do I try to extend his
waketimes... I see him yawning at the one hour mark almost every time in the a.m. but he can go a little longer in the afternoon.
I have tried shortening his
waketimes, but that doesn't seem to be working.
Another thought is to add some more stimulation to her
waketime activity, but be careful you don't add to much.
Another issue in having is he doesn't nap for every nap — at least not the 1.5 hours because he's not sleepy enough as he used to be after 1.5 hrs of
waketime, so I feel he def needs to drop feedings.

If I shorten his
waketime, he'll just play in his crib until he would have fallen asleep anyway, so I don't think that's the cause.
I went through the other 45 minute posts over and over again trying to see if anything «clicked» in my mind... I think I kind of knew that the problem wasn't a
waketime or hunger problem because of the troubleshooting I had
done so far (thanks to your blog!!).
When you said that you learned to accept that your baby was a 45 minute napper and got her up,
did that mean you just let her have
waketime until it was time to eat again?

He quickly could
do a 2 hour
waketime, so we
did 2 hours sleep, then nap.
The best thing to
do is to experiment with different
waketimes.
