process can be lengthy, as we have a waitlist of
dogs currently waiting for
placement to the program.

Local Area Contacts may be the ones who go to the shelter to identify and evaluate a
dog, they may provide the foster care and they should be involved in the
placement process as well.
If after the 21 days ABR can not take back the
dog, for whatever reason, adopter may place the
dog after giving ABR an addition 7 days notice of intent to do so, further, adopter must provide ABR with information on potential
placement and potential
placement must go through ABR screening
process.
This
process is continued until the remaining
dogs have been tested on the four required areas and until the
dogs have separated themselves as to the relative quality of their work to the point where the best four
dogs can be determined and ranked for 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd and 4 th
placements.
We rescue
dogs from all over the southeast and have anadoption
process in place to ensure that all that are adoptable go to good homes as quickly as they are ready for
placement.
Although we endeavor to find a Springer for every approved applicant, and all things are taken into consideration when we consider the
placement of each
dog, the
process of rehoming
dogs has no guarantees.
