Only a few countries have SHOW clubs that
do not accept white for conformation shows, even though they are fully registerable certified purebreds with their national
dog registries.
Like many designer
dogs, the Saint Berdoodle breed has grown tremendously in popularity over the last few years and while he is not eligible to be registered with groups such as the American Kennel Club (AKC) due to his mixed breed status, he
does fall within other mixed
dog registries.
As with all breed

Dog International).
One example is the American Canine Hybrid Club (ACHC) which is nothing more than a
registry for mixed breed
dogs, and which
does not guarantee either a healthy pet or a quality
dog.
The
registry organizations that
do recognize the Shih - Poo as a crossbreed are the American Canine Hybrid Club, Designer
Dogs Kennel Club,
Dog Registry of America, Inc., International Designer Canine
Registry and the Designer Breed
Registry.
