A Parks Department spokeswoman said the agency has been in discussions with Inwoof about the run but hasn't yet committed to designating it for smaller dogs.

Inwoof, an advocacy group for local dog owners, hopes that an area for smaller - breed dogs will be added to Homer's Run in Inwood Hill Park in the coming months, thanks to funds secured by City Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez.

Corlears Hook Park is a vital outdoor space for our community, with playground, outdoor grills, baseball and soccer field, a dog run, and one of the most vibrant displays of Chinese magnolias in New York City.

I usually take a long walk or run with my dog Henry and my husband in Central Park.

I spent my weekend enjoying the weather by running my fastest 10 mile race ever, taking Chewie to the dog park, and wearing the most perfect Spring scarf that came in my latest Le Tote box.

Trip to the dog park, Beaver's Donuts, a trivia contest (more on that tomorrow as well), dinner with my husband, going for my first run in weeks, and doing the usual Sunday grocery run.

The weather in Chicago decided to be amazing this weekend and has blessed us with sunny and warm days that are perfect for taking the dog to the park, watching my husband race his car, and going for a run.

I had a wonderful weekend that included a run, a trip to the dog park, an epic nap, a bike ride that I'll tell you about on Friday, and getting a ton of sun (while lathered in SPF 100 so don't worry).
