If you
do need serious towing capacity on top of simple people - and cargo - hauling abilities, the Suburban is the right tool for the
job, and it
does it while offering a
decent ride and plenty of power.
Ride quality didn't suffer significantly, though that's not saying that much — the M2's super-stiff suspension is something of a pain and on rocky pavement, the M2 isn't terribly forgiving; however, the chassis
does a
decent job of absorbing harsh impacts without totally shattering our spines.
Overall this really is a good little car, gets the
job done,
decent pickup for the size, smooth enough
ride although there is significant road noise compared to other vehicles I've driven, and good feel to it while driving.
Essentially it's a crossover vehicle designed mostly for the open road, but the raised
ride height and optional four - wheel - drive will
do a
decent job of treading over rugged tracks.
