For the little credits mining brings in, it quickly becomes a pointless exercise as
doing faction missions will net you far more cash at a much quicker pace.
Not exact matches
There are some hints that maybe things improve as you level up in the
factions but i'm now
doing missions on their 3rd level and the game didn't improve.
To unlock these you'll again have to join up with the various
factions, and getting points to spend on them can only be
done by completing main story
missions within them, but it's totally worth it as you can get access to some sweet tricks, such as cloning your own ship to help you out in a fight or activating a super-shield that's capable of absorbing vast amounts of weapons fire.

This is
done by the game jumping around between each
faction playing a
mission or two as one clan, then jump to another to play the next few
missions.
A diplomacy system involving multiple
factions plays into this which will determine what races hate you, love you, want to
do you and want give you
missions.
The single player campaign consists of 18
missions (6 for each
faction) that didn't really call to me like the multiplayer
did.
, being part of the military gives me the ample canon for a
faction I otherwise was fascinated with but never got to talk to, the levels were well tuned and some more demanding decisions being made of me to actively
do one thing or another, rather then general side
missions (which more fully influenced the much more complete ending too).
By continuously playing Strike and raid
missions, multiplayer
missions, joining
factions, and completing bounties, players get points that raise their rank in that particular area, and only when they reach a certain rank will they be able to then purchase these items as long as they have the rare currency needed to
do so.
But if you don't want to spend the majority of your time playing the The Crew's campaign there is a solution, this solution is to join a
faction, this will not skip the campaign but it will speed up player progression making
missions easier which will cut the length of the campaign vastly.
If you
do not fancy dealing with other players, you can join the five
factions and participates in
faction missions.
You get some story, pick a
faction and a class, and
do some typically grindy
missions for a while.
