I actually haven't
done any holiday baking yet.
My family didn't
do any holiday baking when I was growing up and we've never been much for big holiday traditions, but it just wouldn't be Christmas without my mom's Wassail.
They also tend to be a great treat to take to a party and are amazing when it's time to
do some holiday baking... oooo... this is making me excited for holiday baking!
A friend wanted to get together and
do some holiday baking early next week, but I'm trying to avoid it for as long as I can.
It was clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed for making meals and I even
did some holiday baking.
I knew I wanted to
do a holiday baking theme and once I found these adorable Christmas Dish Towels at World Market I knew the direction I wanted to take for the entire basket.

I love to
bake, but I
do not want to spend hours in the kitchen
baking during the
holidays.
The fact that these treats don't require the oven, makes them the perfect
holiday recipe to keep in mind because who really has time to be
baking a bunch of cookies?
I keep positive because there is «tomorrow» I
do love to
bake especially around the
Holidays and all of the good memories of
baking with my Mother and Grandmother who have passed are with me..

When thinking about all the cooking and
baking you're inevitably going to

holidays, it might seem pretty daunting — so why not make it something to look forward to instead?

If I'm going to make
baked goods, sugar is sugar, and it seems a quality, sustainable, affordable product is best; however, I
do use coconut sugar as a fancy topping sugar on occasion (for a
holiday crumble for example).
Though I
did a lot of cooking and
baking the last couple weeks, I didn't get around to posting much since the
holidays are always so busy.
I woke at the crack o» dawn this morning to work on all the recipes I promised to share and wouldn't you know it... the dropbox «thingy» (don't roll your eyes at me) didn't work right and my one hundred and something
