I've posted about DRM before, and it is a strike against some e-books — those e-books released by publishers who use DRM (many smaller publishers, independent authors, and public domain books don't use DRM).

domain or not - generally I don't set my
books as public
domain as you are then giving the right for anyone to use your work.

Many Golden - and Silver - Age comics are now in the public
domain, and The Digital Comic Museum and Comic
Book Plus both
do great work collecting and publishing these online for you to download completely free.

Domain ebooks up with covers that really don't fit the

There's no way to categorize

do) and downloading non-Amazon

domain material (via links to cases, statutes and other resources).
