While we found back in July 2014 that Android and iOS users generate relatively similar shares of Web usage from smartphones, when tablets are included iOS» advantage within North America balloons to 65 % thanks to Apple's

As ever, Apple's iPad (all versions) was the
overwhelmingly dominant tablet, accounting for 77.2 % of web surfing on tablets in the second quarter of 2014.
