If you have leftovers the
pudding does stiffen up

If you are and want a natural way to up the protein in your smoothie, then I suggest adding some almond butter and upping the amount of almond milk so it doesn't end up

But when I make
pudding these days, I always make it from scratch because, even though we're fine with corn in my house, I don't care for the way
pudding «leaks»
as it sets up and cools when it's made with cornstarch

do serve it

pudding, sprinkle with crushed pistachios and fresh raspberries.
Chia seeds work
as a thickening agent that gives a

pudding or in this Swiss chard gratin, but also to make pastry cream for strawberry tartlets, or to whip up a batch of crêpes.

The other thing I
did was add ground cardamom which was nice and added some chai flavouring,
as well
as roasted salty pumpkin seeds just because I like nuts / seeds in my
pudding.
If you have a high powered blender and can make the
pudding really smooth, it's even more fun to eat, but if not (I don't have one) it tastes just
as good, but with a little more texture.

pudding recipes, you don't have to
do a lot more than mixing the ingredients together, then wait for a few hours.
French Toast Bread
Pudding — If you don't want to make French Toast from scratch, store bought works just
as well.
Tahitian vanilla doesn't handle high heat well and would be better in «cold» desserts, such

did a little research and found out that recipes for the baked custard known
as Indian
Pudding go back several hundred years, but despite the name, it is not a traditional Native American dessert.
Mocha
pudding — toss in 1/2 a teaspoon of your favorite instant espresso powder (
do not use strong brewed coffee
as the water content will alter the consistency) and use Califia's black & white in place of the unsweetened almondmilk.
I still think the
pudding would not be quite
as «whipped» and more textured if you use a processor, but it would still taste great if you don't mind some texture:)
The funny thing is that I never tried galette before, but kept seeing them all over Instagram, and somehow I knew I'd love them though I'm actually not on a sweet side at all (well, if you don't count fruits and chia
puddings as those).
You could add a good quality ground turmeric but it really doesn't recreate this dessert fully, I would always recommend using fresh
as its flavour and fragrance is far superior and really makes this
pudding special.
With that in mind, remember that the store and food manufacturers know this
as well, and that they've probably studded the area with products that are meant to suck you in, but aren't necessarily a wise choice for your diet or pocketbook —
do you really think you're going to save that much time by paying a premium for mediocre pre-made
pudding?
And while it
does make a super awesome breakfast, personally, I like to use this banana chia
pudding as a healthy mid day snack.
