Socially responsible pet companies go above and beyond
by doing good things for pets in need, whether they offer support to
animals in
shelters, host adoption events, fund research, help pet owners, or otherwise enhance, enrich or improve the lives of pets in need.

by shelters that
do not, adding an undue burden to those that

The central problem of
animal sheltering today is that even the best and most progressive
shelters still
do harm to
animals,
by employing lethal injection outside the bounds of true euthanasia as an expedient to resolve certain problematic situations.
Don't ever consider buying from
shelters as the
animals have already been rejected once
by their owners and usually for cause relinquishing owners

do spend to adopt will help provide much needed care and
shelter for the other
animals cared for
by the organization.
Here are some ways to

In fact, most Westies for adoption end up in
