Very
few players have been capable of being the héroes of both club and country
in crucial
moments (Zidane, Maradona... and maybe one or two more, hell not even Pele was able to
do it

I am an Ozil hater and I will say why I hate Ozil, Ozil is not a goal threat which would allow other attackers more space, Ozil job is not only to assist but also to score goals, he drops out of sight when placed under pressure,
does not provide the team with a lift
in dire
moments (for our so called big player) and only concentrate on team defence for a
few minutes.
While both those players are frustrating, I find Ramsey to be the worse as I feel his best
moments of his playing career was
in those
few months alongside Arteta and he was looking like a contender for POTY already then got injured, that period of time seen Ramsey put
in more tackles per game than Arteta (on average I think it was 4.4), he was
doing the defending and then taking the ball forward
in attacks.
«We all ventured off, quite a
few of us went to Dubai together as a team, and I think that
moment, for him to even think about

I only go to the games a
few times during the season since I don't live
in England, for those who
do, we need to defy those damn stewards and raise the temperature at the games, that's the only practical solution I can come up with, we are not the ones who buy the players and all the noise we have made on social media and elsewhere keeps falling on deaf ears, they will not listen to our calls for players, let's go to the games and turn the library upside down as much as we can, we can not give those players a
moments rest, we, the fans pay them [gate takings and TV subscriptions], you can't take my money and not give 100 %, Wenger can pamper them, we would not, they don't read much that is being said on social media but they can't ignore our chants at the stadium.
The things that killed us
in our last match were obvious, why was mertsacker running into the box when hes a defender and knowing that hes the only qualified cb
in the team surely he should have left the roaming for monreal, too many team members try and instill the responsibility of a WHOLE team onto themselves especially when we go down, now that works
in a case where your team is packed with stars ala chelsea and man city but when you have players like ours our best way to win is patience and everybody playing THEIR role and playing it f-ing well and only
few are
doing that at the
moment and that is the main spine of our problems when it comes to the team!
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to be considered the best you have to bring more than just assists to the table... for me, a top player has to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need to be a beast on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability to take their game to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened
in the meantime, but it's important to make note of a
few things: (1) his best year was a transition year for many of the traditionally dominant teams
in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't
do him any favours; by playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off Ozil
in the midfield and was highly efficient when it came to getting him the ball
in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I
do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club's inability to surround him with the necessary players to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed
in both Ozil and our management team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance to
do something special, but they didn't have it
in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief
moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
I am not talking about the Arsenal fans that have been fighting among themselves or the Arsenal fans demanding that the club sack Arsene Wenger or even wanting the team to lose so the Frenchman is forced to quit, although I
do think a heavy dose of chill pills is
in order for a
few of us at the
moment.

The final 10 minutes wasn't as interesting as it would usually be with the scores tied due to the nature of playing over two legs, but at one point the referee
did appear to be calling for the VAR to look at whether Chelsea deserved a penalty, but the strange part is that the incident had taken place a
few moments before, and it would be interesting to know how that would work had a goal been scored
in that time.
I
do believe it will give is a little sanity but as the author has mention before; there is a lack of passion and motivation and the
moment Wenger holds them accountable for this then there will be know change
in the players questionable attitude.i think you leaving out ozil and Sanchez will provide more fuel for the fire and it will need to address differently, the three at the back that put Chelsea to the sword a
few seasons ago was new but worked but now we are faced with a conundrum.
I don't know referees by name, but during the Blackhawks series a
few years ago and watching one of players get dragged down during a breakaway

moments in my life of sports fandom.

I'm even quietly pleased with Bale (diving not withstanding)-- still occasionally prone to the Roy of the Rovers
moments where his talent doesn't quite live up to his self - belief, but — particularly considering he's played a
few games not 100 % fit — he's seemed more effective under the new reign than
in his previous «play where you like, Gareth» role.
It's been a difficult last
few months for Liverpool and everyone involved at the club, after a terrible run of results, but their victory
in the Merseyside Derby, one which heated and
did have it's controversial
moments, may just have lifted the mood
in the camp and perhaps by the time May
does come around next year the Liverpool players can look upon this part of the season as the pinnacle point
in the season, the point where their season changed for the good... at long last!

done it before this season and I never stopped believing, Never, ever, and when Edin scored that goal it just reminded me of a

moment of your life but if I'm honest, please never again this way.
