water kefir, and your apple sauce recipe is again right up my alley, so I was curious once you add the
water kefir to the apple sauce recipe, it essentially consumes all the sugars, making it safer for people
with blood sugar issues, similiar to when you secondary ferment
water kefir adding fruit juice, and it consumes the sugars still, or the organisms
do.
While I
did eat this low - carb breakfast along
with some juice
kefir (made
with water kefir grains) for my breakfast the day I wrote this, I
do also eat higher carb snacks and meals during the course of the day.
I tried to
do that, but what comes out is a syrupy kind of
water kefir with slimy grains.
I've had great success making a fizzy drink in a sealed bottle by
doing a second ferment
with a 1:4 ratio of fruit juice to
water kefir, but I would warn your readers to be very cautious using this method.

I've never been addicted to soda or anything, but I
do enjoy drinking bubbly beverages from time to time and
with using the
water kefir grains to make this you are getting some probiotics as well.
I wasn't a believer, to be honest, I knew that some people had results
with water kefir but, you know, if you don't personally speak to someone about it, you tend to not fully rely on Internet resources.
You then reuse the grains again (you don't need to rinse them and if you
do rinse them make sure not to rinse
with chlorinated
water — it will kill the
kefir!)
