I should also mention for anyone struggling with
dough stickiness that I was a little under on my liquid measurements with the intention of adding more later if it was too dry, but in the end the dough seemed just right — sticky but not impossible to handle — it held its shape when dropped onto the board.

The
dough gets kind of wet and sticky, but once you press it down into a baking tray and into the oven the
stickiness goes and it forms a beautiful slice.
