doula work by attending a DONA birth doula training in Atlanta with the amazing Rae Davies.

One of my favorite
doulas in south Florida, Lisa Raynor (right) who
works with expecting moms planning hospitals births in Broward and Palm Beach county, she is well known
by nurses, OBGYNS and midwives in Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Northwest Medical Center, Broward Health Medical Center, and far far more.
After her second birth experience, attended
by a
doula, she knew this was the type of
work she wanted to do.
At the end of the day,
by not taking a stand and
by not
working to elevate the role of the
doula in the eyes of expectant parents and medical professionals, we are already limiting choices for pregnant families.
A 2007 study from the Boston University School of Medicine showed that women
working with
doulas were less likely to end up delivering
by C - section.

doula by your side in labor will be one you know and trust.
