Pure hardwood charcoal, or «lump charcoal» is just a big fancy name for burnt
down pieces of wood.
For the past decade, she has been making bronze work, cast from «stray,
downed pieces of wood.»
For more than two decades, while continuing to use found metal, she also began casting her sculptures from «stray,
downed pieces of wood.»

The shelf is sitting on
