Some dog homes, particularly plastic dog houses, have
drainage holes so you can just hose them down and the water will run out.
Make sure to add
drainage holes so excess water can escape.
A solid floor is easier to wipe clean, but I wish more solid plastic shelves would include
a drainage hole so urine doesn't puddle.

so right last year I didn't put
drainage holes initially & learned quick after the first heavy rain!
It has a
hole in the bottom of it for

so I filled it with potting soil and a Baby Tears plant, and it's now living happily every after on our front porch.
I have one chair that doesn't feature any
drainage,
so I'm thinking I maybe should just drill some
holes in a design like the original designs had, because this one is definitely the most prone to puddle and rust:
