I totally love this look, but I have to say I've been avoiding the cape look because it felt so mom un-friendly (
draping fabric hanging in the way of chasing little people, etc.), but I may have to reconsider!

One of the cool things about this carrier is that once you have the sling in place, there's a long
drape of
fabric that
hangs down.
I had fun playing around with the different color palettes and decided on a fine crimson Italian matte stretch
fabric that
drapes perfectly and does not wrinkle if taken care of properly (
hanging it when it's not being worn.)
To
hang the background, simply use thumbtacks or blue painters tape to adhere the top and sides of the paper /
fabric to the wall, then let the rest of it
drape down to the ground with enough room for the subject to stand on it.
My advice to you would be find the very longest, most heavy - duty tension rods available, to carefully open one the package of one of the large tension rods and simply
drape fabric over it and see if looks good
hanging in the window.
You don't want
hanging,
draping fabric getting in the way, or in your food!
The
drape of this
fabric is perfect - it is hearty but so soft that the curtain
hangs and moves beautifully, vs some curtains that are very stiff / bulky.
I did not like the
fabric which was quite shiny and did not
hang well - possibly not very well cut or maybe it would have
draped better had it been in silk.
It also include an aerial
fabric performance (you've probably seen the
drapes hanging from the ceiling that aerialists wrap themselves up in...) to music by animal advocate, Marilyn Milano, and slides about puppy mills and how to create change.
