That idea would look great on dresser
drawer fronts too and is an easy project, but knowing me I would over-think it (again) and take me forever to get done!

I try not to load my paintbrush
too heavy when painting the
drawer fronts and I always double / triple check for drips before moving onto the next
drawer.
I lightly distressed the dresser (mainly along the edges) and used a bit of dark wax on the Old White portion and intermittently on the top, sides and
drawer fronts — enough to give it an aged look but not make it
too dark.
Some glue and a few clamps later, the corner was reinforced, and she painted it with a custom mix of ASCP and then added a linen
drawer front, and a decorative border
too.
I would paint on a whole
drawer front and then wipe it off, but on the top I broke it into thirds and did one third at a time so the paint didn't sit on there
too long.
