movies, who had an unstoppable urge to make them, who
dreamed big even as he was met with laughter and disdain, who stuck with his vision and style despite what the rest of the world had to say, we're pretty sure Wood would be proud of how Burton and his team presented him to the world.

movie deals with
dreams and reality, a topic handled much better in Waking
Life, but this does manage to weave an intriguing tale into these themes.

In an unfancy way — in a way that's like
life, not like
movies — everything that happens in «I'll See You in My
Dreams» is about waking her up and making her feel again, from the handsome new man played by Elliott, to the presence of an unlikely new drinking buddy, the new pool guy (Martin Starr).
The
movie is a series of conversations about free will,
dreams, existentialism and the nature of reality, as its hero wanders through Austin, Texas, in a state between
life and death.
Holed up in this consumerist
dream space, they play dress - up, host a dinner, are visited by ghosts, watch coverage of their attack on display model TVs, and act out fantasy
lives — only to have it all come to a halt when Nocturama reveals itself as the bleak, desperate genre
movie it's been all along.
To pick one fault at random, the
movie suffers from a protagonist, Tom, who has no ambition, no
dreams, no mission in
life, just the task of supporting a wife (Amanda Peet) and infant son.
