this dress as a layering piece for Fall when I bought it.

as we approach the barbeque / party / picnic / summery foods potluck season I wanted to make a roasted potato salad that maintains elements of a classic mayonnaise style dish, except ditching the dairy and replacing it with a fun flavor - bomb
dressing and subtle
layers of texture.

layer your

I
layer mine with
dressing on bottom... then hearty ingredients that can withstand moisture (such
as beans, peas, seeds, corn), then veggies like cucumbers, carrots, celery, olives... then soft veggies like lettuce and spinach.
Using glass jars help the ingredients from getting tarnished, carry
dressings separately or place at the bottom of the jar,
layering sturdier vegetables such
as capsicum and carrots then top with leafy greens.
Instead of spreading the top
layer of
dressing over all the veggies, I heaped it in the center,
as you can see in the photo.

Striped Basics are the best... I picked it up on the same day
as this
dress and I know how much you loved that one, but I'm not really doing this striped beauty any justice
as you can't really see it, though it's a great little comfortable piece for wearing with sneakers and also
layering it up like I do here with different textures and tones.
My two favorite times of the day are the same
as yours... I love
dressing up just

as I love shedding the
layers, taking my makeup off and getting into sweats, hah.
Perfect
