For me, the Ultimate Summer Salad uses the freshest in - season produce I can
find,
mixes sweet + savory flavors, juicy + crunchy + creamy + crispy textures, includes a rainbow of colorful fruits and vegetables, has a variety of shapes and sizes for visual appeal, and is
dressed lightly with a simple salad
dressing.
You cut up some veggies, wash your spring
mix, and open the fridge for your favorite
dressing and
find out that it's a. empty b. expired or c. gone!
The first couple of times I made this I was out of tahini and improvised a slightly lighter
dressing using roasted sesame oil in its place — and I
find I like the slightly smoky taste the oil brings to the
mix.

I served it with roasted cauliflower which I
found on epicurious (another huge hit with my guests) and a
mixed green salad with a light vinegrette
dressing.
To create a tasty recipe that
finds a way to fit «less than perfect» produce into the

find desserts very phtogenic as well as saldas w / out all the
dressing mixed in..
(You also can
mix in the pumpkin seeds, but usually I
find that
mixing nuts and seeds with
dressing makes them soggy if there are leftovers.
Oh this sounds wonderful, I wish I could
find small Italian bread for this sandwich, I have a hard time
finding a bun here in Oklahoma that stands up to the sandwich and the juices, or they fall apart, I like the idea of using the Italian
dressing mix in it, I have printed it and the weekend is coming so we will be trying, thank you for sharing
