The last 8 years or so, my work has been with companies that are definitely on
the dressy casual side and jeans are the foundation of everyone's wardrobe.

My own purchases / items I'm considering are on the
dressier side due to my business
casual (no jeans / tees / hoodies) dress code.
That being said, I think it is more important for the beige item to have, or contribute, to an overall look that is more on the funky
side, than the classic when older, or it very easy to look «grande dame» if
dressy, or «given up» on the
casual.
This look is also a bit
dressier, but still on the
casual side.
Rather than something on the
dressier side, I decided to go weekend
casual with a sweatshirt, bf jeans and light pink accessories.
Normally I think of a heathered grey cotton piece to be more on the
casual side — and it's definitely a less -
dressy hue compared to black — but the pretty draping on this dress really makes it so easy to dress up (with some statement earrings).
Whether they're
casual or on the
dressier side, a great LBD can be super stylish and even, worn with the right accessories to make ir your own, cool and unique!
Leather and suede sandals are on the
dressier side, while plastic sandals and fabric sandals are on the
casual end of the occasion spectrum.
During the work week I enjoy being a bit on the
dressy side, so when I had a day off mid-week last week for some appointments I enjoyed a little Wednesday
casual.
I'm a heel lover, so my
casual outfit was more on the
dressy side.
Oh goody, a chance to dress up but maybe not too
dressy because in «anything goes So Cal», I know that theatregoers can and will wear whatever they want and The Husband would probably be dressed more on the
casual side.
I would consider the pairs I have to be a little more on the
dressier side, but I could also them out on the town or for a
casual shopping trip.
It makes the overall bag easy to pair with
casual outfits like a graphic tee and boyfriend jeans, and
dressy outfits such as a midi
side - slit dress and tall boots.
