I followed the recipe exactly & used
dried cranberries which I chopped up to make the 1/2 cup.
The bars pictured above also contain
dried cranberries which I substituted for pepitas.
You can substitute blackberries for any berry your baby enjoys, or you could try raisins /
dried cranberries which would add a little extra sweetness.
The temperatures are cooling off and Phoebe has recently discovered
dried cranberries which means oatmeal every morning, naturally.
My changes are Pepitas in place of the almonds / pecans and the addition of

I live in Denmark where it's impossible to get fresh berries at the time, but I have some mango flavored
dried cranberries right now,
which is really yummy.
I love the addition of
dried blueberries,
which taste great without added sugar (like
dried cranberries).
Also reminds me so much of a dish my dad started making when I first became a vegetarian — he usually adds
