Don't use PPIs though, more people have reflux due to low stomach acid than too much stomach acid; really what you want is to find the reason your lower esophageal sphincter isn't closing / staying closed and avoid that pattern (sometimes it's a specific food (or
drink), set of foods, or habit: laying down or
vigorous exercise too soon
after eating).
