The first time, after repeated fruitless attempts to roll out the
dough, I ended up out
of necessity just scooping it by the
teaspoon - ful and rolling it in my hands for a basic
drop - shaped cookie.
For small cookies like I made,
drop the
dough on the prepared baking sheet a
teaspoon at a time, sprinkling with a bit
of Fleur de Sel and baking for about 9 minutes or until crackled and set.
Scoop out balls
of the
dough by the half
teaspoon and
drop them into the boiling water, immediately sweeping them from the bottom so they don't stick.
