powder, I have tried many vegan protein
powders and they either taste awful, they don't mix well (it is important to mix this
powder with your liquids BEFORE you add the
dry stuff or it will get clumpy) or have sunflower lectin, soy or gluten after I found out that I am allergic to dairy, soy, gluten, sunflower seeds, green beans, yeast and basically everything good and this is by far and wide the best.

The only thing I would change in the assembly is to sift together the flour, baking
powder, and soda to eliminate lumps in the
dry ingredients — I noticed some of either the baking
powder or soda did
not incorporate well into the batter.
We only need the
dry powder for flavor,
not thickening, because oats thicken enough on their own already.
Combine biscuit mix with salt, garlic
powder and parsley, and add about 1 cup of warm water (you don't want it too wet or too
dry, so you may need to adjust with a little more mix or a little more water).
I didn't have cacao nibs so I used some cacao
powder I had but it was really
dry and had no taste.

not suggest keeping this over 1 week or in your pantry since it has no preservatives (a good thing) but if you just want a single serving you could easily use 1 tablespoon peanut

It is
not a refined product but the
dried and
powdered root.
To wet mixture add
dry ingredients (flour, salt and baking
powder) and mix it until you can
not mix anymore with a wooden spoon or a spatula.
Ingredient Substitution: If you don't have all the
dried peppers on hand, just substitute 3 tablespoons of regular chili
powder for the ground pasilla, chipotle, and New Mexico chili peppers.
B) Thanks to your note «the cumin and cayenne in most chili
powders» I have just learnt that chili
powder does
not mean
dried and ground chillies, which is what we mean in Australia by chilli
powder.
Add in the flour, baking soda, baking
powder, and salt and stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until combined (I found that it was
not necessary to pre-mix the
dry ingredients and instead just mixed them all into the wet ingredients at the same time).
Alan Davidson in his «The Oxford Companion to Food» tells us that this
powder is
not, in fact, a
dried form of real custard but is just cornflour (cornstarch) and sugar that has been colored and flavored.
If you find yourself in the same boat, with big clumps of cocoa
powder in the
dry ingredients that won't mix out, I would suggest sifting so you don't have any clumps.
