If you use a microSD card, then you won't be able to use second SIM card, as ASUS Zenfone 3 Max comes with a hybrid
dual SIM tray.

dual SIM tray with the one hybrid slot for a microSD option.

The Dual SIM tray can have one MicroSIM and one Nano SIM in the same tray, that has to be pulled out using a SIM ejector pin.
