Coming to the more technical side of things, all that's known about the processor is that it is of the 1.5 GHz
dual core sort.

So its all a matter of speculation as to what
sort of a device the new chip will find application in though its believed to be the larger 10 inch tablet that will benefit from the Orion
dual core processor.
(I was also hoping for this to be the
dual core 800mhz phone,
sort of disappointed.)
In terms of hardware specs, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket will sport a 1.5 GHz
dual -
core processor (it is not know what
sort of processor the Skyrocket will be using), which is an increase over the regular Galaxy S II's 1.2 GHz
dual -
core Exynos processor.
There's a lot of high end phones out there from
dual -
core to quad -
core processors, vibrant, rich displays, 1 GB or more of RAM, NFC and all
sorts of other goodies, but with those higher specs comes a higher price tag.
Underneath the hood, you will find a rather beefy
dual -
core ARM Cortex A15 processor that is accompanied by 2 GB RAM, touting a 5 - megapixel shooter at the back, while up front, you have a 1.9 - megapixel camera which ought to be good enough for High Definition video calls if you're into that
sort of thing.
Processors wise, both tablets have
dual core 1 GHZ chips, but the one on the iPad 2 is better at closing apps and will
sort through bottle necks much faster than the Xoom tablet.
