Pallof Press Targets: Obliques, transversus abdominis (rotational muscles) Attach a D - handle to a
cable cross machine and adjust the
pulley to chest height (a resistance band around a pole works, too).
To perform it, step into the
cable station, grab a D - handle from each low - set
pulley with an underhand grip and take a step forward.
The idea is to progressively move up in weight on each set of the bench press,
cable crossovers, and lying low -
pulley chest flyes.
The
cables can also be attached to low
pulleys or the
pulleys may have clamps so they can be moved up and down to change the angle of the exercise as well.

Stand in the middle of a
cable crossover station and grab the D - handles connected to both low
pulleys.
A kettlebell can also be secured to one end of the Battle Rings and thrown over a pull up bar for use in drills that are usually reserved for
cable /
pulley systems; these exercises include tricep extensions, woodchoppers, and new functional drills that can help people develop throwing power.
