Well,
dubious ingredients such as hydrolyzed soy protein, canola oil, hydrolyzed corn or wheat gluten, corn syrup, autolyzed yeast extract, «natural» and artificial flavorings and «liquid smoke.»
This is a very broad term and could refer to everything from herbs or meat meals to more
dubious ingredients like digest.
Jenny Craig, NutriSystem, MediFast, Merbalife, and other diet delivery plans all offer processed and packaged products with long lists
of dubious ingredients, including the excitotoxins MSG and aspartame, both of which are associated with weight gain.
In addition to being laden with soy, such products may contain canola or other poor quality oils; high fructose corn syrup, agave and other questionable sweeteners; refined salt; artificial flavors and
