If you're lucky, you may spot dolphins and even
dugongs in the bay from where the boat leaves.
Marsa Alam has several
dugong in the area and the bayshere are home to excellent corals, large turtles and Guitar rays and the islands are a highlight of the area.
See nature up close with dolphins swimming, whale watching (in season), visiting crocodiles, fish feeding, turtles and much more, even the occasional
dugong in the distance.

in fine sediment loads from the GBR catchment.

From diving
in WWII shipwrecks to spotting rare mythical creatures like the
dugong, Palawan has so much to offer when it comes to marine diversity.
Here's the new Amihan Boys Tower which is a project of DENR and is used to observe the rich marine wildlife
in the area - Seacows (
dugong), Whalesharks, Dolphins and sometimes even whales.

The area has outstanding marine biodiversity with staggering coral walls around Bunaken, the more recently discovered muck diving sites
in Manado Bay and the stunning reefs around Bangka which, whilst not part of the park, are celebrated for their stunning soft corals,

in Hervey Bay outside of whale season, you can still head out for a half - day tour to watch pods of dolphins frolic along the coast of the Great Sandy Strait (if you're lucky, you might even spot some turtles and
