Essentially, you're going to create your sub-characters and start running
dungeon levels over and over again to gain Fame (from beating dungeons under a certain time limit), money and equipment.

It is amazing to progress through the game's
dungeons and go
over areas again and again with fresh challenges emerging and altering the
level as you work through it.
Which means you go back into the same
dungeon that you have been visiting
over and
over again, with a few mix ups here and there but the same enemies appear
over and
over again and again, until you get a little further into the game where the
levels mix - up a little more and the enemies change a little, just enough for you not to realize that it is basically doing the same thing to you
over and
over and... well you get the idea.

I've played my fair share of first - person
dungeon crawlers, so grinding doesn't bother me at all - this is a staple in RPGs in general for me and considering I've been playing them most of my life, I have no problem with this - but having this
level of punishment only because I haven't been able to save - a system that doesn't necessarily have to do anything with my inability to fight or lack of power in my characters - gives this sense of «see how far you can go and start
over again if you die» like old arcade games would do.
