duration cardio exercise.

duration exercise, you will actually improve your hormonal state and your body's ability to burn fat and build lean muscle.
High intensity interval training is shorter in
duration, yields a greater post
exercise caloric burn, and will help you shed fat at faster rate than steady - state
cardio.
What I'm referring to here are the
cardio exercises that you choose (such as a treadmill or bike) and not the specific
cardio methodology (such as low intensity / long
duration LISS
cardio or high intensity / low
duration HIIT
cardio).
As a system of
exercise, it differs from the more traditional steady - state
cardio, where the emphasis is on
duration rather than intensity.
With long
duration excessive
cardio exercise, you can actually go into a catabolic mode and the body starts to produce excess amounts of cortisol.
