One of the ways to deter the formation of NOx
during the combustion cycle is to introduce an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) process.
I'm talking about the exhaust valve, as if one is open
during the combustion cycle, you've damaged a valve and the seat most likely.
The multi-link system means the piston connecting rods are almost vertical
during the combustion cycle, rather than moving wider laterally as in a traditional crankshaft rotation.
This is, in part, a result of its multi-link design, where the piston connecting rods are almost vertical
during the combustion cycle (rather than moving wider laterally, as they would in a traditional crankshaft rotation).

Its spark plugs fire
during every ignition phase of the four - stroke
combustion cycle, but do so in different conditions depending on the driving requirements.
Hopefully not confusing the issue, I will tell you that the intake valve remains open for a short time
during the beginning of the compression
cycle, as well as the exhaust valve opening before the piston gets to the bottom of the
combustion cycle, but specifics of why this happens is probably best left for another writ.
Valve overlap will only allow exhaust gasses to revert (called reversion) back into the
combustion chamber
during the intake
cycle.
Often, this might help, but Kevin also says that cylinder pressure will help seal the valve
during the compression and
combustion cycles.
Tax approximate CO2 emissions from final
combustion of biofuels and biomass based strictly on product type without attempting to account for carbon sequestered
during growth
cycles or emitted
during harvesting, distillation or other chemical processing or land - use impacts.
To understand the full extent of the environmental implications, it is important to consider the emissions released over the full life
cycle and not just
during fuel
combustion.
During the past 500 years or so, human activities have released mercury from its relatively stable and water - insoluble form (cinnabar) in rocks and soil through mining, fossil fuel
combustion, and other activities, and so have increased the portion of mercury that is actively
cycling through the atmosphere, surface waters, plants, and animals as it changes chemical and physical form.
