It is very repetetive, the graphics are very basic (but it is overall a nice looking game
during the gameplay sections) and the gameplay is simplistic, only two buttons are used.
As a result, the game contains a total of 29 tracks, most of which can be heard
during the gameplay sections and boss fights, sometimes when the boss is near defeat.
The game looks great
during the gameplay sections, and distinguishably better during the pre-rendered cutscenes.
Not exact matches
The only time the
gameplay falters is
during the few moments when Binary Domain leaves its pure cover - based shooting roots and attempts to mix things up with some different sequences, such as racing jet - skis down a river or on - rail vehicle
sections.
It's
during these
sections where the
gameplay is placed into a giant melting point where the game really shines.
Also important to the plot are «Vision Quests», which are missions that you undertake within Paradigm X where you can experience memories of departed souls, playing through chapters of their lives to uncover the truth of what's going on in Amami City — the
gameplay during these quests is much the same, but I actually enjoyed these
sections most of all, since you can hear the thoughts of the character whose life you are experiencing, and of course these
sections are also story - heavy, which I liked.

gameplay as well as a
section dedicated to Final Fantasy XV and it's intense new mechanics.
