Colors like beige,
dusky pinks, soft greens and mustard are not complementary to your skin tone.

dusky pink blends with the Warm palette (top left), looks great with the strong Cool shades (top right), it's Light and Muted (bottom left) and teams with the strongest tones (bottom right).

coloring is and how comfortable you feel.

None of the common
colors I've encountered for crosswalks — yellow, green, blue,
dusky pink (or the very similar and presumably expensive alternative of patterned, reddish brickwork) can be expected to work any better than the yellow paint in the above examples.
