Norwegian is citing the failure of the Scottish parliament to follow through on a promise to cut air passenger duty as the lead reason for cancelling its route between Edinburgh and Bradley in Connecticut.

Now, as we discussed, taxes and fees for round - trip bookings are steep because of the Air Passenger Duty fees.

With the many focus areas within business travel, such as accommodation, air travel, duty of care and many more it can however take quite some time.

Almost one third of holidaymakers said they would travel less often due to the increased cost of travelling through taxes, such as Air Passenger Duty which was increased last November and raised # 2.1 billion in the 2010/11 financial year.
